DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

I have always had a passion for photography, especially working with prolonged shutter speeds and artificial lights. Here are some of my favourite projects: these projects have given me extensive experience working with Adobe softwares including adobe lightroom, photoshop and animate.

SJB SCHOOL SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY (2017)

These photos were taken of students at SJB school. This work was commissioned and 7 images of students participating in different sports were displayed in A0 size in their new sports facility. These photos utilise a slow shutter speed in order to capture the movement of the sporting participants. 

FLUORESCENCE

These photos were taken using powder paints, UV paints and UV light. Some photos involve painting onto the body and others throwing paint and capturing the impact. 

WATER

These photos were taken using either fast or slow shutter speeds to capture the crisp sharpness or smooth flow of water. 

GLASS

These photos were taken through a glass orb or through water-filled glasses to invert the reflected image.

LIGHT

This collection was predominantly taken using slow shutter speeds to capture the movement of light. Movement was created by water, cars, zoom and lights wrapped around people. Other photos utilise the use of light and shadow to create patterns.

BOKEH

These photos were taken by altering the focus of the shot to render out-of-focus light and create a dotted effect.
